Escaping Child Marriage is a coop which was formed by a group of very courageous women who live in the Himalayan Mountain regions of India who have been victims of child marriage.  These women are able to stay in the Short Stay Home, operated by the coop while they are provided with vocational training and taught self sustainability.

Jewelry creation is a wonderful way to allow the women a chance to connect with one another, share their stories and glean true support.  Creative expression is a beautiful means of healing and these women use items naturally within their environment, such as pine resins, stones, gems and metals, to design beautiful works of art.  See these fascinating pieces of jewelry here!
