One of our most unique artisan groups that we work with, Conserve India is truly a fascinating and environmentally conscious non-profit organization.

Started with a desire to clean up India's waste, a recycling program, Conserve India was born.  But after some exploration and discovery, it became an "upcycle" program with the intent to use the waste for something truly genius.  With the passion of helping the poorest of the poor out of poverty and a desire to clean up their environment the staff of Conserve India began designing gorgeous handbags, accessory bags and other items out of the very waste they were trying to get rid of, plastic bags!

Each bag represents hundreds of people in India who are now receiving fair wages for their work and an environment that is now cleaner.
