The Abba House Foundation was started by retirees David and Joyce Moore who witnessed child sex slavery in Thailand. Wanting to make a difference, they sold their belongings and moved to Thailand to start the Abba House Foundation.
Abba House is a Christian organization comprised of 2 separate divisions. One exists to rescue children who are at risk or have already been a part of forced prostitution. These children are provided with housing, food, and an education.
Separately, the New Life Annex house and division provides housing, food, training in conversational English and vocational training to men and women who have been rescued from forced prostitution. Part of their vocational training includes how to make jewelry which Abba House then sells. The artisans are paid a fair wage for their work immediately and the sales of the created jewelry goes back to the Abba House Foundation. This is a great organization of hope and grace for those who need it the most.
